We started Horeru Chuka because the Chinese food most people know outside of China often only scratches the surface. Behind every dish on this site is a personal memory and a family's precision for flavor.
We cook these recipes in our own Tokyo home, photograph them on our own table, and write each story in three languages. Whether you are in Tokyo, Melbourne, or beyond—our mission is to help you bring the authentic warmth of a Chinese home to your table tonight.
